“Learning for Life”

In December 2019, I was invited to speak at the Designers + Geeks “Community Talks” series.

As a huge product nerd & design junkie, I’ve always been the biggest admirer of the D+G community, so this opportunity to share my personal journey and passion for learning was a highlight for the year.

When you think of learning, what comes to mind? A professor, a classroom, endless practice sets in pursuit of an academic goal? Me, I see learning as a lifelong endeavor-- one that reaches beyond the classroom or campus. Rather than a stepping stone in professional development, I see learning as a fundamental approach to life. In this talk, I'll share my past year of experimentation with dedicated continuous learning and the lessons I've taken away.
